WEDDING RECEPTION BARN
Our purpose-built timber reception barn offers a grand and elegant space with neutral colours and natural textures - the perfect backdrop for any floral and styling theme you choose for your wedding. Architecturally-designed to bring the stunning hinterland views inside, it has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden trusses (perfect for dramatic hanging installations), a recycled- brick fireplace, and a large covered verandah. There is ample space to seat at least 120 people comfortably and enough room for a spacious dance floor - the perfect space to have the night of your life!

We offer a selection of stunning ceremony sites for you to choose from, each providing breathtaking views over the fields at golden hour. You can center your ceremony under one of our majestic trees, creating a picturesque and memorable setting. Or be framed by an expansive view over lush pasture and tree lined hills.
Each site provides a unique and enchanting backdrop for your special day, ensuring your ceremony is as unforgettable as your love story.
WEDDING photos
There are photo opportunities aplenty at Frida's Field, with the entire 120 acre property available for you and your wedding photographer to enjoy. There are majestic trees to frame your shots, fields that capture golden hour perfectly, country roads, rustic fences, textural sheds, hinterland vistas, ebony barn doors that make your dress and florals really pop, and a cute cottage that was featured on the cover of Country Style Magazine. Frida’s Field offers an expansive lawn terrace with stunning hinterland views - the perfect place to enjoy your wedding cocktail hour with outstanding service from our in-house team and delicious nibbles from our award-wining chef. Relax and take in the beauty of nature as golden light covers the fields and the sun sets over the orchard-lined hills in the distance.
On-Site Bridal Suite
The Cottage at Frida's Field provides the perfect place to get ready for your big day and unwind afterwards. It's also a stunning backdrop for wedding photos and a secluded spot for a “first view”. Featured on the cover of Country Style Magazine, The Cottage is a recently renovated 1890s coach house, with a stunning cathedral ceiling, rough-hewn exposed beams, and polished floorboards. As an optional add-on to your wedding experience at Frida’s Field, it is predominantly suited to couples, but can accommodate up to 4 people with a pull-out couch.

Weddings are easy at Frida’s Field, with so many aspects of your special day provided by us. Your venue fee includes the use of our beautiful reception tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Your food and drink catering are taken care of by our award-winning restaurant team ensuring an exceptional dining experience for your guests. We have a range of catering packages that can be tailored to your needs. Our reception barn has a full commercial kitchen with 2 cold rooms, 3 bathrooms, disability access, a backup power generator, and private on-site parking with bus turning circle for easy access.
For all weddings at Frida’s Field, we plant a tree on our farm which couples can return to visit over the years.

Rustic, yet refined, our food is honest, creative and full of flavour. Our wedding catering packages are carefully curated by multi-award-winning Head Chef Ally Waddell to create a produce-driven dining experience which captures the essence of the Northern Rivers throughout the seasons. We passionately showcase the incredible bounty of produce grown by small-scale producers in our region and source the majority of our produce directly from our own farm as well as weekly trips to the Byron Bay Farmers Market. We have twice been awarded One Hat by Australia’s most prestigious culinary awards - the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Awards. Our beverage packages showcase small-batch wines, beers and sprits made by exceptional producers with a focus on local, natural and minimal intervention drops.
